Darlene Stone is a CPA and is currently the CFO at Wathco Inc. Darlene has over 30 years of experience in accounting and tax services with strong concentrations in the construction industry. Since joining Wathco in 2009, her responsibilities include operational and financial strategy, policy and procedure design and implementation, managing information technology systems, risk management, and tax compliance. During Darlene’s time at Wathco, she has made it a priority to create a team environment working to develop relationships.

Darlene acquired a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University in 1994. In 1997, she obtained her Certified Public Accounting license in the State of Georgia.

Aside from loving her job, she also loves other things, such as spending time with family and friends, traveling, and doing outdoor activities.
